Frequently Asked Questions

We teach ages 5 and up. Starting piano lessons around the same age as kindergarten can help support early reading and math skills. You are never too old to learn an instrument and our teachers tailor the lessons to you specificially, no matter your age and experience.

You need to be able to practice your instrument at home. Lessons are just a small part of becoming a proficient piano player and at-home practice makes all of the difference. You need a piano with 88 weighted keys and a pedal. All "real" pianos work and electric keyboards are acceptable as long as they meet those requirements. If you are unsure what keyboard to get, see this guide here.

-There are no make-ups for missed/cancelled lessons. No refunds will be given. This is out of respect for our teachers and the difficulty to arrange reasonable travel distances for our teachers.
-If you will not be able to make your lesson, please reach out as soon as possible by calling (509) 519-2321 or on the online portal.
-If your teacher cannot make your lesson, a make-up lesson or a substitute teacher will be provided.
-Lessons are paid for monthly. If a student misses or chooses not to complete their scheduled lessons, no refunds will be given. However, you may cancel your enrollment at any time, and the cancellation will take effect the following month..

Payment is month-to-month online through stripe. Monthly payments are due on the first of the month.
